Ea blueberry is acknowledging it actually. So it means hopefully soon they add this to a patch update or maybe even the scouting update but tbh I really want to play now and can't wait. I haven't played ever since it first came out because of that tbh. I wish a little patch update in the upcoming days if they find out the solution to the bug.
Hopefully @EA_Blueberry has an update today on the dev teams progress with resolving this issue. I would love to start my franchise before Wk 2 kicks off. Although, I do worry that whatever fix they do find may not get pushed until the next title update.

Good news! The team is optimistic they've identified a fix. When we can confirm on when it will be included in a Title Update we'll update this post.

@EA_Blueberry any idea on timeframe? I wanna play the game but there's no point without franchise. Like can we reasonably expect it within September?
@EA_Blueberry I would also like to know. I noticed the scouting update was pushed to mid-October which I am fine with since I would like to start a franchise before that is released since it will most likely have bugs at launch. Can you please find out if they are going to release this before that title update.
@EA_Blueberry welp this didn't age well. Title update today with no franchise fixes. At this point I don't believe a fix is coming. It's a major let down to pay that much for a game and then have it still not playable over a month after release. People have begged for franchise to be a focus and it just gets consistently pushed to the side. FWIW scouting is a decent addition to the mode but it can't alone fix a currently broken mode.
