Looks like removing all of my team visuals did not resolve the issue. (On PC BTW)

I've noticed that the problem continues, but it is less frequent after removing visual cards
I'm having the same issue, removing visual cards and selecting best team has done nothing for me
I'm on pc. I think I fixed it by enabling geforce experience
Did you lose your play art and/or ability to see the kick meter? I did when enabling GeForce Experience, and that is not worth fixing the frozen issue that I still experience at the conclusion of a solo challenge. While I am at it I'll go ahead and use this post to proclaim that I am still having the issue after implementing the workaround provided (uniform cards and generating lineup). Looking forward to the next suggestion or solution, however.
i have the exact same problem. the only thing i did was update my geforce drivers... its getting very frustrating to lose my kick meter... i have to alt tab out and click on the game to get it abck but it starts the meter.
Also the freezing at the end of failing a challenge is infuriating!! Fix it EA!
