Game chooses Spike Ball automatically during gameplay

Summarize your bug Whenever I successfully make a pass or run play, it skips the abiltiy to choose the next play and automatically selects a Spike Ball option, every single time. I doesn't matter which mode I play. Also, I used a logitech gamepad and just bought a new gamepad thinking it was my old one. But I have the same problem with the new one. I never had this issue with Madden 20. Only with Madden 21. I only have a mouse plugged into my laptop along with the gamepad.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Something is triggering the Spike Ball option.
What happens when the bug occurs? I don't get to select my play, and it only lets me Spike the ball.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see an option of play choices.

1. Turn on your PC and launch the Xbox Accessories app. If you do not already have it installed, download the application from the Microsoft Store.
2. Connect your Xbox One controller to your PC. If your controller is wireless, connect it to your PC by using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.
3. With the Xbox Accessories app open, if a controller update is required, a message should pop up saying "Update Required."
4. Click "Close" once your controller has updated.
