Have you been able to fix the problem yet? I feel like I’ve been trying everything to get it to work but nothing has worked. This is extremely frustrating.
I am having the same issue on my Xbox One X. I also purchased the Ultimate Superstar Edition and I have been having this issue since launch. It sucks to watch all of your friends on your friends list play the game. My game continues to reset back to the dashboard/home screen after reaching the Madden 20 Pat Mahomes loading screen. I've tried everything except for deleting my saved data permanently. I do not want to lose all of my stuff that I earned during my ten-hour trial period.

Please do not edit my posts EA_Help! Still experiencing the same issues with no solution given! Same troubleshooting steps and my money has already been taken for my ultimate edition of Madden 20 digital copy on Xbox One X. Still unsure of why my post was placed in a PS4 post when I currently play on xbox?

I moved your post over here because it's related to freezing at the menu screen.
If you delete the saved data on your console you won't lose your online MUT progress (that is saved to our servers), only offline CFM progress. If it's dashboarding to the Xbox home screen these steps below usually fix that. I do recommend clearing the saved data if these steps below don't fix it.
Do you have the game installed to an external hard drive and is there anything other than a controller wire plugged into the USB slot?Power Cycle the Console
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
Clear Mac Address
- Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.

Hello @EA_Blueberry there is nothing plugged into the USB port on my Xbox One X console. I just finished resetting my console and deleted all of the data. It didn’t work after I re-downloaded Madden 20. I have since power-cycled my Xbox and cleared the MAC address. I’m still experiencing the same issue.
