frankly, the gaming experience in playing H2H is just so frustrating, to say it politely.
I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why I should try to finish a game when I realize in the first quarter that it's going to be close (in my best case scenario). I can't influence these games at all.
Whatever I do (and I'm now convinced that I'm not that bad anymore), the game screws me over several times per drive. And very often one of those situations goes completely wrong.
For me, the only sensible strategy in H2H is: 1) see if your opponent is sufficiently weak, 2) if yes, score quickly so that he gives up quickly, if no, give up immediately and load the next game, 3) don't try to enjoy the game. It does what it wants anyway.
I really hate it that this is the only bearable strategy. That's definitely no fun, neither for me nor my opponents. ☹️ ☹️ ☹️
for me it does not take a quarter to realize that i can not win this game. if i start with the kickoff and see that i have a half of a second delay by pressing the A button i immediately can quit the game...

the worst thing is that if I only play those games where my opponent is not stronger than me, almost every game I face 3-3-5 wide and a Gun Bunch formation exploiting this §(/$%)§$ always working glitch plays which can only be stopped/beaten if you watch these §/(%)§"Q§ twitch or Youtube videos/streams to learn the §$%/§$% counter glitch plays. I most often win these games anyways (if I'm not to pissed to see the same again and just quit either) because these players are obviously not used to it and just copy what they learn from these &/(§/$%$ streams/videos.
That's just not the way I want to play this game!
The good thing: there are alternative modes (i.e. Solos) which allow to enjoy the game because the AI reasonably varies its strategy, reacts on what you are doing, its defense is difficult to read and you could make use of all concepts and plays because they are working as they should. [sarcasm alert!]

playing H2H in MUT is the worst gaming experience I've ever had in my life:
- Field goals from medium to far distance: impossible
- usered sacks: impossible (the QB will either throw the ball away although my defender is already staying on his toes or I get a roughing the passer call)
- avoiding getting sacked: impossible (as soon as I see that a defender is close to my QB neither throwing away nor any movement works to get away because the defender is warping to sack my QB)
- lurking INTs: impossible (if the intended receiver is close to my player because the catching animation from the receiver is already triggered when I try to do the lurk; it sometimes works when my usered defender is between the QB and the receiver and both far away from the receiver and the Qb throws a bullet: happens almost never...)
- successful shed moves from my players (both offense and defense): almost never see that (if I do not have a spy and the QB does not roll out, my opponent has up to 20 seconds to throw the ball)
- AI tackles: if I see it then just because the defender slowed the ballcarrier down by just running into him and does a very unfavourable tackling animation afterwards
- successful blocks from my offense: impossible, they are beaten immediately
- trying to defend run plays: my complete D-line is blocked 5 yards into the backfield and none of them ever sheds a block
- trying to blitz: impossible (except a player is completely unblocked and never comes close to a OL)
- ballcarrier moves: almost never work, if they work it is a guess because I have to trigger it so early that I do not even know what the usered defender does. my ballcarrier moves look so weird and completely useless most of the time. most often, it is even worse than if I would have continued running
- the passing play is impossible (except against opponents with much slower players where I can easily exploit the speed advantage)
- throwing touch passes: impossible
- catching contested catches: impossible
- throwing a pass into a "window": impossible
- throwing a pass to where it should be (given the passing concept): impossible (because the defenders react immediately to the pass and are quicker there than my receivers)
And now try to defend these &§%&/Q$%("/§ money plays! or beat these §&Q/$&§Q money plays! Although I know in principle how to beat them, or at least I have ideas how to do it, well, ... defend a passing play for 20 seconds... (I managed to do that sometimes! :D )
playing H2H feels like fighting against a giant uphill with legs and arms tied. It feels so great facing players being proud of their performance that they also have to rub my nose in it with their taunting animations.
LOL next game after writing this post: "Did you enjoy the last game?" I feel so screwed over, after facing a drive with 3 plays in a row where my defenders just ran into the receiver/ballcarrier without any tackling animation and the ballcarrier could just ran "through" them...

@Neo_Novalis playing MUT H2H is the by far most frustrating and therefore worst gaming experience I've ever had.
And why do I still play it? there is not a single MUT mode available if you chewed the clock in all Solos....
for me, there is no alternative to 1) adding challenging, repeatable Solo modes (with a cleverly adjusting AI) and 2) allowing to complete promo objectives list by completing either Solos or H2H games, but not requiring both. That is so frustrating to go for 25 H2H wins just because otherwise I would never manage to complete any promo list...
