[Gameplay] Zone Coverage is broken

I really like how the PS5 version of madden 22 plays for the most part but 2 routes (corner or flag & drag route) almost makes the game unplayable. The problem has existed at least since Madden 18. A corner route shouldn’t work versus cover 3 unless you have 9 route to hold the corner outside. The problem is even worse on the PS5 because they actually play it well until the ball is thrown. Once the ball is released the corner turns and runs away from the ball and by the time you can click on him try and break on the ball, he’s taken himself out of the play completely. The same thing happens on the drag route. The opposing QB can lead the lead route right to the safety or corner but as soon the ball is thrown the defender bails out as if he didn’t see the ball being and thrown. A lot of times the defender is 5-7 yards over the top of the route already so it’s no reason for him to bail like that, never mind that the ball is already in the air. All in all, the other 10 guys have to play football too. I get madden wants to reward users for  clicking on guys and making plays themselves but you can only control one person at a time. The other 10 guys have to read and react too!
