[Help Request] How do you stop "Dive" plays?
How do you stop dive. The fact you can run 52 times and no matter what defense your in not stop it is a sorry excuse of a game.

It seems that you've asked this question so you can bash the game - as if you really don't care how to stop a FB Dive - because you haven't found a solution yet. If you just want to bash the game, stop reading here. But if you want to know how to stop a FB Dive, keep reading.
The FB Dive, (in particular from Far and Near formations) is a QUICK handoff to the FB aligned close to the line. Against most base defenses, the offense can break the run for 2-5 yards a pop because the G-C-G blocks can pick up the interior defenders.
IMO, Bear (3-4 and 46) formations that cover the G-C-G work the best when an LB plays in the middle. If the D-line is stunts inside, there's no where for the FB to go and the LB can clean up. Resist the urge to run commit in the middle unless you are SURE the FB dive is coming and you aren't worried about getting beat deep.
I also recommend using a custom playbook so you aren't stuck without the formations you need.
