Hit stick glitch

In all game modes, the ball carrier will perform a hit stick move on the hand off or screen play to the HB. It happens randomly all the time for my ball carriers but almost always on the hand off on a run play or screen. I have tried reinstalling the game, using different playbooks and game modes. I am not sure what is going on. Very frustrated as it makes the game worthless because I cannot score on big plays or even get yards off the ground. Just want a smooth running game. All these updates keep messing with the game tuning. Any ideas on how to fix this?
