How to mute Online Opponents PS5 ver of Madden 21

    I've had major issues with trolls. People using vulgar language, loud noises, and racial slurs all game. I cannot in good faith let my kids play this game, which is really crazy since your currently doing a cross promo with Spongebob. PS5 Madden games are SUPER toxic right now. I also do not want to play the game because I don't need to listen to some 15 year old call me racial slurs all game. 

    Although I can appreciate this isn't your fault, do you think an online troll is going to accept my invite to a party? Does that sound like a reasonable solution?

    I've also heard the workaround to plug in a headset and not listen to it, which also isn't an acceptable answer for me. 

    This needs to be fixed ASAP. Im thinking of requesting a refund.

@EA_Blueberry I get what you're saying but these trolls don't always want to join my party and it still says nothing to the reasoning why you guys haven't added a simple option to mute people in game. This is one of the oldest and simple online gameplay options and you guys act like it's trivial. Letting my family play this game online puts them at risk for serious abuse and you've given me little hope that you care or that it's going to change. Sure I can report them, but that doesn't take away from having to play a game listening to abuse for an hour. The only option is to just stop playing I guess. Since you guys refuse to do the simplest things to keep your users safe. I'll be sure me and my family never buy a Madden game again.

I agree 100% with Jordan and the answer given is pathetic. You have kids playing this and EA has to know so many of their customers are atrocious and disrespectful and they do not have this simple function. Inexcusable no matter how the response is presented.
