How to play

I recently bought madden 15 having never played it before! I've done all the training and skills section of the game but whenever I play the game I never seem to achieve anything! I have played around 20 games having never scored a touchdown! This is frustrating me as I really enjoy American football and want to enjoy the game! I never seem to be able to get first downs and the opposition always seem to get their first downs straight away! And it's starting to annoy me and make me not want to play it! Will someone help me to get better and to actually enjoy playing this game? Thanks

    To play the game you not only have to understand the controls and how to play it, you must understand how football concepts work. You need to understand the game before you can successfully play it. Having trouble gaining 10 yars for first dwons ? Mix up your plays, run the ball, throw in some play actions(fake run pass) . the most important thing you can do while engaging a passing play IS ALWAYS WATCH THE SAFTIES ! while running, read the linebackers. If you call say a run up the middle and you see linebackers crowding the line, call an audible and change the play from the line. Onve you get the basic fundementals of the game of football, then its time to learn the video game mechanics and how the video game works.
