No nothing works against certain blitzes I double teamed I'd the Mike on the side maxed protected and put my te on pass block either sack or a pick an you can't do nothing about it except quit the game 70 to 80 % of people do this online an it's not fun to deal with when you can't do anything at all
I'll preface this post with a philosophy that is commonly overlooked, but should inform our strategic decisions. Football is about getting the right players to the right places at the right time; in essence, there are only three things to worry about: Personnel, Position, and Tempo.
I challenge you to do more. Remember, I'm haven't used shotgun in 17 years. Ask yourself:
- Are you positioning your players to be able to block a blitz through formation?
- Are you taking too long to spot open man?
- Are you maximizing your protection by staying in the pocket?
By my count, you've tried about 4 of the possible hundred or so things you could use to solve your protection problem. The reason 70-80% of people online use the same things isn't because it's a glitch, it's because the average Madden player hasn't figured it out and quits before they find a solution...
You can block ANY BLITZ - if you really want to. Or you could complain about not wanting to and not block the blitz. I'll help you if you want, or you can stay frustrated. Choice is yours.

So if I block my te slide my line double team I'd the Mike Block my rb all in the same play every play an their x factor Lawrence Taylor gets to me before I can drop back or if they get through the middle or the left what then? My linemen get dumbed out by these blitzes that's broken I shouldn't have to do 50 different things just to do 1 play when all they have to do is 2 things that's boring an extremely effective blitzes are ok but when all you have to do is blitz the entire get an get to me before I even drop that's an issue i don't always run gun. Even then if the blitz don't get me it's perfect man coverage an run d I have an 89 overall team an can't do nothing sometimes. An yeah your right FOOTBALL is about all those things but linemen in Real life don't run past who they gotta block same with rbs same with tes this is not reality it's a broken game with issues an im talking about mut.
- MaddenUniversity6 years agoNew Veteran@Mr_DaddyJ_93 I don't play MUT. Never have. But I imagine Lawrance Taylor had real coaches scratching their heads until Joe Gibbs started using the Singleback Ace formations to negate LT's weak side pass rushes.
That said, in H2H I rarely used Slide Protect, ID the Mike, or the Double Teams. I-Form, Weak I, Strong I, and Singleback are the staples of my offense. Against man coverage, I know my hot reads so I can get rid of the ball in 3-steps. Against zones, I blend concepts that get men open so I can get the ball out in 3-steps. Nothing beats blitzes like a consistent quick passing game from formations that buy time...
Over the course of many years, I've seen Madden players try to throw the kitchen sink at blitzes when a single adjustment will do the trick. It's as if they feel like they have to use all the tools in their toolbox, when all they need is a screwdriver. The more instructions you give your protection, the more likely they are to dumb out; more correctly, the more the user is likely to misinterpret how the combination of instructions tells their linemen block. You don't have to do 50 different things to block blitzes... Sometimes all you need to do is change your formation, look to a different receiver first, or hot route one eligible receiver to block.
Take a logical approach without changing the logic first. Start with simple stuff first. Putting players close to the guy they are going to block, instead of relying on giving them 3 or 4 potentially conflicting assignments to reach block guys 3-5 yards away.
If positioning players alone doesn't buy the time you need (all three elements of strategy), THEN start changing the O-line logic by sliding, IDing the Mike, etc...
If you slide protection, be sure to block the back to the opposite side, and if you ID the Mike, choose a rusher you expect to be unblocked.
With a little tweaking to fit these ideas into your offense, you'll be able to buy your QB at least two more steps of dropback time (all three elements of strategy) which will open up more routes on the route tree as receiver options.
Hope this helps,

That's my point bro I do those things I'm 26 I been playing Madden for quite a while mut since it came out an this is the worst year for blitzing I've ever seen it ruins the game I've tried all that you've mentioned the YouTubers keep on giving these people cheat blitzes they have whole 10 minute videos on it. There is no moving with the QB you snap the ball an instant sack even if you click the pass button immediately with a wide open guy an have all your blocking assignment covered

Well these players are terrible every game I join now wether it's mut, or just an online play now I get cheesed to death, mainly the 3-4 and 4-4 spammers, my question is EA will you do anything to prevent further game exploits from those plays? Also please fix the dam blocking.
