Summarize your bug Everyone and their mother drops the ball. These are professional athletes and they drop the ball or fumble too much. A QB like Lamar Jackson and Russel Wilson is not going to fumble every single time they get hit during a run in real life yet in the game they fumble everytime. Fix this please. This game is unplayable and extremely fake.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Run with any QB in the game, chances are they fumble if they get hit.
What happens when the bug occurs? They fumble every time
What do you expect to see? A fumble

These are professional athletes. They are going to make catches. Madden seems to not think so and even the slightest touch makes the receiver drop the ball. Michael Thomas is going to hold onto the ball through most contact in real life but in madden I guess he can’t catch. And all QBs no matter how they run in the real life, fumbles everytime you get tackled basically. This game is unplayable with this feature and this needs to be addressed

I know where you're coming from in regards to their real life stats and abilities, but the team has to make decisions where they have to design a game that can incorporate both real life and game balance. If you had Lamar and Wilson only fumble once out of hundreds of rushes, people will just run with those players and never slide/dive. When you slide you give up that opportunity to pick up a couple more yards when not sliding. It completely changes the balance of the game. Realistic? Sure. Will it be fun in the long run? Likely not. With their ability to get out of the pocket faster than other QB's in the game they already have that huge advantage, so if you're trying to pick up a few extra yards by not sliding which resulted in a fumble, that's on you.

Receivers will drop balls if it's a badly timed pass. Michael Thomas is amazing and never drops the ball, but you can't make it where he has glue on his hands or else you'd throw to him he entire game where he would get 40 receptions. Similar game balance decision like the QB fumbling.

  • Just played a game and Lamar Jackson fumbled 3 times on 7 carries. Conservative carry was on. And on the plays he didn’t fumble I slid or got OOB. Meanwhile I sacked the opposing QB 6 times and he never fumbled. QBs who run don’t actually fumble more often when they run. Most QBs fumbles while taking sacks, not running the ball. Fix this.
