I won the superbowl but the other team celebrated

I was playing as the Steelers in madden 15 and won the superbowl in my offline connected franchise as a coach. I went undefeated not losing a game the whole year with the exception of pre season games that I just decided to simulate. I won the superbowl against the saints and it was a total blowout 31-10. After I won the game it showed steeler players celebrating, then the coaches shook hands,  after that it went very downhill. The game then nominated the saints backup tight end for MVP who had like 1 catch for 5 yards or something like that and then it showed the saints owner, the head coach and the back up tight end on the podium with the trophy celebrating like they won the game! Neither Phil simms (who I don't like to hear talk anyway) or Jim Nants had a thing to say about how I never lost a game and how my defense caused 2 turnovers and shut down a 99 overall rated drew brees. They didn't even mention how this was the Steelers 7th superbowl or anything like that. This is truly sad to see, I'm not the most committed madden player but this is so simple and just dumb. What I don't understand is how a game like madden which is very easy and simple to make  is such a bad game from EA while games like battlefield and FIFA are usually pretty good.
