Keep getting disconnected from the EA servers

I keep getting disconnected from the EA servers in the middle of a game.  Here's a typical situation. I'll be playing and it's not always at the same exact time.  It could be any quarter.  Either offense or defense.  Although it has happened twice when I am losing, it happened the other 8 times when I was winning.  It will start lagging for about 3-5 seconds.  It will stop lagging and then it will lag again. Then I get a message saying "I'm getting kicked from the session due to a network timeout".  After that, it tells me I've been disconnected from the EA server.  I then try to reconnect and it lets me after trying 2 or 3 times.  However, if I go into another game right away, chances are, I will get disconnected again.  I have Madden 25 and it happened there too but not as often.  Madden 13 was fine.  BTW, I get disconnected when I'm playing solo with my ultimate team as well instead of another person.  My friends and I are getting so frustrated when we're playing that we are thinking of shelving this game.  Please help!
