Madden 15 players on Roster, but NOT on Depth Chart

Following a trade I made in Connected Franchise, two completely unrelated players to the trade remained on my roster (playing as the Giants) but have dissapeared from my depth chart, stopping me from being able to play with them in the game. After the trade, Larry Donnell and Ryan Nassib are the two players that remained on the Giants roster but have vanished from my depth chart. I tried playing a game to see if it was a mistake, and even though they reappeared on the depth chart during the game, when I attempted to place them back in there starting positions, the game did not recognize them, and whomever was below them on the depth chart started anyway (and they did not appear as back ups).  Its very confusing and frustrating, any suggestions?

PS. I am playing on a PS4
