Hey dudes.. had the same prob.. did a reset it didn't fix it.. But i just signed in to the PlayStation Store and then logged into Madden online and it let me in right away.. Hope this fixes the problem for you guys too
What I had to do was log into my router and change the firewall settings. Since online is considered a P2P type of format, I had to allow my router's firewall to allow for P2P functions. Once I did that, I was able to go. I also went to here: http://portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/PS4/#X to do some port forwarding. It is now done and it works.
