Madden 15
Dear EA,
This is a letter of complaint about the Madden 15 Football game. My son purchased 12,000 points for $99.99. It was a Christmas gift. He used the points to purchase 55 ultimate team packs. Some packs were legendary packs and some were Pro packs. His team had a rating of 84 overall. After opening all 55 ultimate team packs his new rating is 85. The best player he received in all those packs was a Center with a rating of 88.
I am the parent of a Super Football fan and Madden 15 fanatic. Although I do not always aprove of video games in general, i allow my son to play Madden15 because he loves the game of football and enjoys it so much. His disappointment, however, after spending his Christmas money and not really getting anything for it was heartbreaking. It is difficult to explain to your child that the makers of their favorite video game are most interested in taking his money and less so in his enjoyment or fairness.
I have to admit I don't totally understand the points, versus the coins, or just buying players on Madden 15, but I do know that if you spend $100.00 it should buy you whatever it was you were looking for. That being said since my son has sworn off Madden and is blaming EA for ruining it for him, perhaps you could be persuaded to make it up to him by returning his money, giving him some coins, or in some way encouraging him to try playing Madden 15 again. And maybe convincing him that the people at EA aren't that bad after all.
Thanks for hearing me out,
Hope to hear from you,
Gail P
