I cant believe this isnt getting more attention... FM (Franchise Mode) BUILT THE MADDEN FRANCHISE... and now sadly it appears the team is abandoning it... For the first time EVER, I am agreeing with the masses that I probably wont buy this game again... and I buy EVERY year release day... SMH, they really dropped the ball here.

Remember how great the franchise mode was about 5 years ago. Had the combine during the offseason. Could hire and fire positional coaches. Now they just give us junk and worry about MUT

we just need to get more attention... i cant believe more people are not completely furious with EA for KILLING the franchise experience this year... tell all your buddies and even dudes you play online with, message them and tell them to come here and complain... DO SOMETHING EA!!!

just read through the title update #2.. NOTHING regarding CFM player progression... We have been tossed aside... I am now personally going to every gaming site and leaving scathing reviews ... A once storied franchise of a gaming title... just asking CFM players to take it up the @$$.
- Anonymous10 years agoBump. Please fix EA
- Anonymous10 years ago
I have a first day release that I had pre-ordered... just like I do every year... and as of now I haven't even played this game in 3 weeks, and I wont ever buy an EA game again if this doesnt get fixed.
Replace the XP system with ANY other years system and its at least playable.. this years system MAKES THE GAME UNPLAYABLE!!!
- Anonymous10 years agoI hope they fix this it is ridiculous.
I have an issue with the progression. It seems to take too long because it seems players are always regressing rather than progressing. Take my situation for instance. I did a fantasy draft and have Jimmy Garapolo as my QB he wins MVP in 3rd season in CFM with 4100+ yards 44 TDS makes playoffs and loses 9 attribute points in awr. How does a player who has a good season regress? I won a second MVP with him and he's barely an 85? Last I remember Aaron Rodgers won one MVP and he's the best QB in Madden. - Anonymous10 years agoI think there is a lot of traction on this but EA is just ignoring this aspect of the game. It doesn't make them the money UT does. I honestly wish someone would make another game or have EA use us as user of the game to test it out.
- Anonymous10 years agoPlayers that barely progress in Madden 16.
WR I have had WR put up monster numbers in the season close if not over 1100 receiving at least 10 TD in at least e seasons and none of them are at 90s.
Sammy Watkins:
2016- 78 catches 1151 yards 10 tds
2017- 75 catches 1041 yards 10 tds
2018- 79 catches 1137 yards 10 tds
2019- 74 catches 1212 yards 8 tds
Over 89
Kevin White
2016 - 82 catches 1016 yards 7 TD
2017 - 72 catches 1092 yards 13 TDS
2018- 85 catches 1224 yards 10 TDS
2019 - 100 catches 1222 yards 12 TDS
OVR 87
CB
Kevin Johnson
2017 6 INT
2018 4 INT
2019 1 INT
OVR 78
I had to take him out as a starter because I drafted a CB with higher OVR. Highest I have got him was 80 ovr and I spent an entire season doing game prep on two CBs and they don't progress no matter how many INTS they get. The year I started the rookie which would have been his second season (2019) he had 4 int and is still an 80. He has 90 man 90 zone 87 press.
It takes so many points to develop a CB it's nearly impossible to develop. Just get a CB that's already in the 90s
QB 3 time MVP and barely a 91. In last season (2019) he threw over 5000 yards 51 TDS and 9 INTS and barely a 91 WTF.
My RB Tra Mason is an 88 but that's fine only because he's only averaging a little over 1100 yards rushing.
But these progressions are straight up trash.
Let's bombard Rex Dickson twitter to fix this asap. And they should be able to fix it for CFMs already in progress I don't want to have to start another CFM after investing so much time in this one? - 10 years agoEA doesn't care. It's frustrating.
- Anonymous10 years agoI only play offline so the XP slider feature being available for online CFM is totally useless to me.
Another EA fail. I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the failure of EA to maintain the lifeblood of the offline CFM model - player XP progression. As someone who has purchased a copy of Madden annually since the very first edition, I am an EXTREMELY loyal and EXTREMELY dissatisfied customer.
I am seriously considering NEVER purchasing another copy of Madden again. There's an old adage that states, "If you want to know how to run your business, ask your customer." Well, EA, since you haven't asked my opinion, I will proactively share it. The lack of XP awarded for player progression in Offline CFM has rendered the most important feature of this mode completely useless and, hence, makes this game unplayable for me.
- Anonymous10 years agoEa wants to do just enough to get you to buy the game, they are not like 2k which improves every year and is amazing. They're like this because there is no competition in their industry, so sadly I don't think much will improve which is a shame because I used to really enjoy the game especially franchise but it has consistently gone downhill since madden 12 it is sad to see the mode that made madden great never improve. Also I can't stand mut I do have time to lose 100 games and try and build a team out of the * they give you to start off

EA has yet to respond or fix this issue in offline CFM. This is unacceptable.
