Madden 17 on Xbox 360 franchise schedule issues

I have Madden 17 for Xbox 360 and just finished season one on offline franchise mode. When I started the second season the schedule didn't update like the real NFL does. Usually the schedule rotates every season. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this?
