@Shayla2019 What platform are you playing on, if you did not purchase the game through Origin did you do so from a third party seller and if so then you would have had to register the game to Origin in order to play, if not and you are on console then you will have to download the patch on that platform.
I am on PC and yes I got it from a third party but, how does all of that work my friend? I am new to this. I didn't think that I would have to go through all of this when i bought the game. Honestly I feel like there should be a link for the patch to fix the issues of a game I purchased. So, your.saying that, I can go on Origin with a third party game and it will allow me to download the patch without having to pay more money monthly for a game that I already paid for correct? That's madness my friend. If you guys have access to the patch then, why don't you let people download it??? ItsI not like your giving me the game free, I already own it. Wow
- JanePhoenix7 years agoSeasoned Veteran@INHOUSEMUSIC16 He was explaining that EA games run through the Origin client and receive updates through the same client. So if you purchased from a legitimate 3rd party you should have been provided with a product key that had to be redeemed through Origin. If you did so then you will able to get all game updates through Origin. If you are somehow running the game without Origin then it sounds like you might have paid for a pirate copy, in which case it will not be supported by EA.
EA trusted retailers are the following, as you can see at https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/where-to-buy-ea-games-v2/, so if you did not purchase from one of them then there's a good chance you've been sold a pirate copy.

@INHOUSEMUSIC16 If you are playing Madden 19 on a PC then you must be playing it through Origin, if you bought the game from a third party retailer then you still need to redeem the product code on Origin or else you will not be able to play the game. Where did you purchase your copy of Madden 19 on PC from?

@INHOUSEMUSIC16 When you received the game did you redeem your code to your Origin account and download the game then?

@INHOUSEMUSIC16 If that is the case then you have purchased a pirate copy of the game and as such we are unable to provide any support for the game.
In order to legally play Madden 19 on PC you would need to purchase a copy through Origin or else from an authorised third party retailer such as Amazon.
