Madden 19 Franchise Mode Crashing

There is already a thread on this. The game is completely broken. Crashes everywhere and no acknowledgement from EA

I have and my neighbor have had the same problem in year 6 and year 7 franchise files stop working and I got ahold of EA on twitter for no help at all they said try reinstalling game no help whatsoever been over a month since I have been able to play madden and it actually work worst madden I know to date very disappointed 

The same issue for me except mine was working completely fine prior to me exiting out of the game. When I ran the game again and tried loading my save files the game just crashes back to the desktop. I told myself a long time ago I would never buy an EA game again, because they are notorious for broken games, especially with Madden. I read the wrong reviews because the ones I read were raving about it on PC. Now I'm solid on not giving them my money for their bull****. They obviously don't put it to good use

I agree that is not a corrupt file. I have started 3 different  offline franchises and mine crashes after game 6 each time. I thought I was the only one. I was told by GameStop it is an error on EA side that has to be fixed through an update. So here I am 4th go round in franchise mode.

This happens in ALL EA games and on consoles, especially around years 4-6 in franchise mode. This happens in Madden, NHL, and even UFC. I really wish EA would fix this well known issue. I don’t think I will buy another EA game until they fix this because it makes no sense to have a franchise mode if you cannot make a franchise dynasty. I just deleted it to make room for red dream redemption. 🙂

This has happened to me twice. Very frustrating when you put the time into a player and it freezes when simulating. This has happened to 2 players now can they do anything to fix this or am I just wasting my time playing franchise because it will become unplayable whenever it feels like it?

The farther you get on franchise mode it seems to slow and lag out and the servers crash

Summarize your bug I am in cloud online, not offline. Lots of things are wrong. First of all, I have been doing this franchise for 5 seasons now and I really like it and I am really upset with what has happened. So I was an owner of the New York Jets and everything was working just fine. It was week 1 of the 2023 season and I decided to retire my owner of the Jets to then become to owner of the Oakland Raiders so I can relocate the team to Las Vegas so it's like how the NFL really is in real life. Then after I hit the relocation button, I tried to advance a few weeks until I could chose my new city. Then, week 2 came along and I tried to advance again but the problem was that there was no advance week button. I looked up what could be the problem and tried most of the suggested fixes but none worked. So then I was like, "ok it doesn't really matter, I'll just switch to the Jets again it's fine." So then I retired my Raiders owner to go back and become a Jets owner, only to realize that I CANNOT BECOME AN OWNER AGAIN! The part where I pick owner is locked and it only lets my select a coach or a player. So then I read somewhere that if you put your user team on auto pilot, then it'll advance to the next week. So, I went back to the Raiders and put my owner on auto pilot, then backed out of the franchise and went back in. The advancing week screen actually came up and I was really happy because it might actually work! Then five minutes later, it is STILL ADVANCING!!! So I hit "B" on my controller to stop advancing.... only to find that the screen freezes on the "cancelling simulation" screen. Now every time I open the franchise, the advancing screen always freezes and I can't do anything about it because it is set on auto pilot and I can't change it because it won't let me back into the franchise. In other words, every time I enter the franchise, it automatically advances to the next week, but it freezes. So now my best franchise of all time, and my favorite franchise of all time, is gone and all I can do is wish how EA would actually fix this game because it is SO BUGGY and there are so many glitches. At this point, I have had enough. I have been playing madden since 2014 and I can't stand there awful glitches. DO SOMETHING EA!!!!! Your game is becoming worse every year! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

What do you expect to see? An advance week button, and a button that lets my become an owner again, even if I already retired my other owner.
