    Great news, the fix for franchises crashing in later years has been identified and will be made available in an upcoming patch.

    I know this has been a lengthy and painful issue and we want to thank those of you who posted the specifics we requested, those posts have been of great help to us in finding the fix.

    After the fix goes live, we will post here again asking you to confirm if the issue is resolved for you.

Having the same issue. This game is unplayable. Have been playing Madden for 14+ years and this is the first time I’m posting on a thread. 

This happens in CFM (offline) on PS4 around 2022-23 every time I start a franchise. I have looked for updates and fixes ever since buying the game. The crash to the blue screen error on PS4 happens sometime in the 2023 season when exiting a game. I have multiple manual saved games to try to get around the crash, but it doesn’t matter. As soon as I load a game that crashed, try to replay the game, then when the game is over and it tries to to go back to the menu of my franchise, it crashes. 

I have done 5 franchises and tried to pass it off as a fluke. Happens every single time. This needs to be fixed or I’m done buying this game. I would like a fix or my money back.

Oh and let’s not even talk about the depth chart issues with the game as well. Put a running back as a new starter and the game plays the 3rd string running back. Oh, you want to start your new wide receiver you drafted? Too bad, 5th string guy is now your starter unless you trade or release your 5th string guy, then the game recognizes the higher overall player should be starting. SMH...

Just went back and downloaded a game from 2 years ago that actually works and imported the new rosters. I’ll just play this instead of buying the new game every time it comes out. Can’t believe this game reliability is getting worse for newer releases...

Just bring back Tecmo or NFL Gameday 98 I guess..
