Madden 20 - Tuning data error / update roster error

Are you getting this error when you're trying to play all online game modes or a specific one? If you go to Origin in the top left corner of your Origin client and select "Application Settings," then go to saves and disable cloud saves does that fix this for you?

Yes it’s just Madden 20.

I tried your suggestion but still get error message... “an error has occurred while downloading the latest tuning data”

Thanks for getting back and unfortunate those steps didn't do the trick. We can get this fixed though, would you mind uploading a DxDiag for us so we can look at your full system specs? Do you have Origin and Madden both installed on the same hard drive?

Let's try these steps to see if we can get this fixed for you:

1. Search "Windows Updates" in the desktop search bar to check for pending updates. It looks like you're on an older Windows 10 build.
2. Go to Nvidia's site and download the latest driver for your video card. I can't say this is connected, but I just noticed it's outdated so it's good to have that up to date to avoid any other game issues.
3. Restart your PC.
4. In your Origin client click on Origin in the top left>Application Settings>Installs & Saves> Is the Game Library Location "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games?"
5. Try toggling cloud storage on/off.
6. Check at the top of Origin to see if you need to download the latest update.
7. Right-click on the game and select Repair.
8. Launch the game.

ive tried all of the steps you suggested. I’ve updated windows 10, updated my NVIDIA drivers and tried the repair and toggle option...

its frustrating as the game loads but just errors “tuning data and roster update”.

what else can I try, it’s almost like the game won’t connect online ?

And also yes the game library is C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\\Origin Games

Saying no to all the download questions resolved it for PC users last year. Can you try rebooting your network to establish a fresh connection to our EA servers? (unplug the modem/router for 5-10 minutes)

I'm leaning towards the possibility of a hiccup in the connection causing the tuning data to not download. Hope this helps, keep us updated!
