Madden 20 can't continue franchise without PlayStation plus

How do I continue playing Madden 20 PS4 without PlayStation Plus? This is absolutely ridiculous. Paid $50 and can't play the game. What's the fix?

    Offline Franchises can be played offline without PlayStation Plus. When PlayStation online services are being used (online game modes like connected franchise), a PlayStation Plus membership is required.

@Wolverine_fab5 I have madden 21 I have a paid membership and it is saying same thing I’m on week 9 do I have to start all the way over?

@jcdapoet Are you playing a connected franchise? If that's the case, your PS+ membership may have lapsed and will need to be renewed to access the connected franchise because it's related to online services.

    Yes but my memberships is paid and active until next year and I keep getting the same error message

      @jcdapoet Is the membership on your main account or are you sharing the PS+ membership? I recommend checking your PSN account and verify with PlayStation Support on whether it's still active.
