Madden 20 Companion App Status 0

Hello, some leagues are having trouble exporting their data. Whenever they attempt to do so, it tells them League Info failed getting data from Madden NFL server. Please try again Later. It also...

I solved one issue that causes this error. I suspect there's more than one though because it was happening to a small number of leagues on MyMadden.com before that certificate expired. This particular cause seems to be that the companion app is getting picky with what certificates it will work with. However, it still works over the insecure http urls. I went ahead and purchased a new cert instead of using a free one so people could use https for a little greater peace of mind.

Thanks for reporting this! If you reinstall the companion app does the error still show up?

Both. I've had people who use both phone OSes report the problem to me.

I don't know if they've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app, but they can usually export other leagues' data.

Confirm a reinstall of the app has been performed (Y/N)

Latest Software update for their device

Device type

Phone/device model

Franchise name and platform (XB1/PS4/PC)

    See screenshot attached. This problem is for all users in our league that attempt to export. We have tried reinstalling the app.

  It looks like a lot more leagues developed this issue today. They're not posting some of the info you requested, unfortunately but I can tell you the great majority of my users are on iphone. I'm on Android and am getting the same error.
  I'm wondering if it's a DNS issue.
  EDIT:
  Whenever I do a test export and check the access logs on my server, there is no indication that the EA Companion App ever tried to reach the server.

  I can confirm that I am having the same issue. The weird thing is that rosters and weekly stats were able to go through. Also, when I first set the league up I was able to export all league info week by week. But when i advanced it quit working. I have a samsung s10 5g. The other commissioners are on iPhone. I have removed and re-installed the companion app as well. This is for an xbox one league. Pigskin 22. Please let me know if you can help or have any advice.
