Madden 20 Companion App Status 0

Hello, some leagues are having trouble exporting their data. Whenever they attempt to do so, it tells them   League Info failed getting data from Madden NFL server. Please try again Later. It also...

    I solved one issue that causes this error. I suspect there's more than one though because it was happening to a small number of leagues on MyMadden.com before that certificate expired. This particular cause seems to be that the companion app is getting picky with what certificates it will work with. However, it still works over the insecure http urls. I went ahead and purchased a new cert instead of using a free one so people could use https for a little greater peace of mind.

It looks like a lot more leagues developed this issue today. They're not posting some of the info you requested, unfortunately but I can tell you the great majority of my users are on iphone. I'm on Android and am getting the same error. 

I'm wondering if it's a DNS issue. 

EDIT:

Whenever I do a test export and check the access logs on my server, there is no indication that the EA Companion App ever tried to reach the server.

    The recent influx of this issue coincided with my Let's Encrypt certificate renewing. So, I obtained a new cert from a different CA and it seems to have fixed the issue for many. 

    @EA_Blueberry do you know if the Madden Companion App has stopped working with Let's Encrypt certs intentionally?
