Madden 20 Game Play

I have been playing with created players for a long time and beefed up my favorite team to mostly 99 overall rated players. Now, all of a sudden Madden 20 is playing like Madden 19 where the opposing defense are acting like defensive gods no matter what settings I put the CPU sliders at. Can't run the ball can't pass with interceptions or knockdowns. That is why I hated Madden 19. What has happened? Did EA update the game to suck or is the CPU overriding my settings? Either way, I am no longer enjoying the game. I love to run up the score and get all the number one stats. It's just a video game, right? So why, can't I play it the way I want to in the privacy of my own home when I dished out my hard earned money for the game in the first place. If this is not corrected, EA can forget about me buying another Madden game. I don't need to be frustrated by a video game. Life, itself, is already frustrating enough. What gives?

@J2THE30301 There haven't been any updates to the game since Madden NFL 21 launched.

When you reach higher OVR and play opponents of higher OVR, the game speed will "feel" quicker and when certain players like linebackers are maxed out in OVR they will be more athletic in the middle of the field.
