Community ManagerWe'll make sure the team is aware of connectivity issues like this reported to us. I feel like it would make sense to more likely experience some input lag if you're connecting to someone from the states since you're traveling across the Pacific, strange it's happening to two Australian players. Depending on the mode, the player with the stronger connection will be the home team for the peer-2-peer matches. That's why I asked if you were the away team when you experienced this.

I'm able to confirm there aren't any Australian servers. Have you tried opening up ports for Madden to see if that helps reduce input delay for you?
We have them listed here. You would have to log into your router's admin panel to enter them in. Some routers have ports closed off by manufacturer default.Wow well then that’s the issue, there isn’t any servers in Australia and we are forced to connect to the American servers. Wouldn’t a hybrid system that can be peer to peer and also server be the best solution. is there some way you can let EA know about this as a problem.

I have the same issue. Have a 20mb line and still lags on kicking input.I'm in South Africa tho.
