Can you tell me what platform you're playing on, and if you're getting a specific error code, or error message when you try to launch Madden please?
Xbox series X and no I do not get error code. The loading bar goes up to Showtime then stops
I’ve been having the same problem as you. The only thing that has worked (sometimes) is changing my DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary. Hope this works for you!
Tried the DNS change. No luck either. I wish they’d fix this! I’ve run out of suggestions to fix this.

Give the following steps a try please:
Open up your Xbox Settings, then go to Network Settings. From there go to Advanced Options and select the option to clear the Alternate MAC Address. The Xbox will restart after that.
If this doesn't clear the issue up, be sure to let me know.

- @bmf078 Oh man bummer. Sorry to hear that. I tried everything recommended by this forum and other websites and the only thing that worked was signing out of my gamertag during the loading bar and letting the game load. It's tricky though. Give it several tries at various times of the loading bar. That's the only thing that has worked. Very frustrating! This just started for me about two days ago. It's been fine since I bought the game otherwise. I didn't change anything on my end. What did EA change? I have the issue on my XBOX One and my XBOX Series X. Ridiculous.
- @EA_Solaire Hello. This didn’t fix it. The game still froze at “Showtime.” Please help us. So many of us spent countless hours creating custom rosters. Now they’re unusable. Very frustrating. Thanks.
- I sign out of my gamer tag account before it reaches the “Showtime” loading screen and it loads fully. Then I log back in once the game gets to the main menu via the RT. I’ve tried everything else and it hasn’t worked. Including uninstalling and reinstalling and moving from the external to the internal. Very frustrating. Never used to do this and I didn’t change anything.

I have to try signing out of my Gamertag several times during the green loading bar (but always before the "Showtime!" appears) to get the game to load. Then I'm able to squeeze the right trigger and sign back in. My consoles are up to date (XBOX One and Series X). I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game yesterday too and still have the same issue. I've tried everything suggested that I can find. Something changed at EA because I didn't change a thing on my end. I don't have issues with Madden 22 loading. So there is something with the Madden 20 servers I suspect. I wish they'd remove the requirement to be online for Madden 20. That's probably the source of the issues. EA PLEASE fix this! Thanks!
