Madden 20 PC cannot stay fullscreen and is unresponsive on windowed

I have come across an issue that happens to just Madden 20 and none of my other games.

When I load Madden 20, it starts on windowed, then flickers to fullscreen for a second only to go back to windowed. When it is in windowed, I can maximize it, but not matter what I do, when I click on the window, it flickers to fullscreen and then back to windowed and only excepts my input for that split second it is in fullscreen.

I have done all the fixes here for games not going to fullscreen on windows 10:

I have uninstalled Madden and reinstalled it.

I have uninstalled windows updates and reinstalled them.

All my other origin games work perfectly. This issue only affects Madden 20.

I have yet to reinstall my graphics card drivers but that is the next step I will try on my own.

If this is a known issue with a known fix, I'd love to hear it.

Can you try running your monitor in its native mode: 2560 x 1440(p) (59.951Hz) rather than Current Mode: 2560 x 1440 (32 bit) (144Hz)

Do you happen to have Microsoft Edge as your default browser? Maybe try setting Chrome or Firefox as the default.

Additionally, try performing a clean boot before playing and installing any available Windows updates.

This is not a known issue, more likely your PC is either below the minimum requirements or is not actually using your GPU when you try to play.

Let us know how you get on after you reinstall your video drivers and if you continue to see an issue, posting your Dxdiag report here will be very helpful.

I have attached the dxdiag output.
I'm not super well versed in analyzing that, but it looks like my graphics card is what is being used... and it definitely meets the minimum requirements.
I opened a help ticket last night and I'm now able to play the game in windowed mode when I go into the in game settings and change it to windowed there.
But when I change it back to full screen, the problems return immediately where it cannot stay full screen and doesn't respond to any input when it is in this windowed mode.

Every 5 minutes my screen goes small from fullscreen when playing Madden. This only started two days ago. When it is small I can't use my Controller and miss points, it's driving me nuts. Please fix this for us all EA.

@EA_Barry This is now happening not just on Madden 20. I happen to like the Command and Conquer franchise and recently got into it lately. It is literally to the minute, every 5 mins, Origin will appear to "refresh" or "restart" going from full screen to window then maybe back to full screen. Or worse, have to click on the toolbar to go back to fullscreen (on C&C). On Madden it goes from full to window then gets stuck there. Clearly Origin broke something via an update. This happens to multiple PC's in my household. A desktop running I-5 7600K with Geforce 1060 on a 2K Predator and on a Lenovo laptop (for C&C only). I. have tried playing MAdden on the Lenovo while slow it works but exhibits the same problem...both on Windows 10 Pro....

Never got it resolved. Every other origin game I have works fine. I just open Madden in windowed mode and maximize the window... less than ideal but it's the only way I can get it play.
In order for windowed mode to work, I had to open the game in fullscreen and then quickly press one or two buttons before it shuttered between fullscreen and windowed to navigate the menus in order to turn on windowed mode within the game.

This is still a SEVERE problem. Nvidia PC players are getting kicked out of fullscreen every few minutes.
All notifications and overlays are turned off.
No other ANYTHING running and all drivers up to date.
It is IN fullscreen....then, while playing, using a controller (both wired and bluetooth) the game will suddenly LEAVE fullscreen mode. (The window is longer the front window and simply clicking back in the window returns it to fullscreen.)
There is no rhyme or reason that I have found, ie, nothing else is running on the PC at the time and there is no button combination as it will happen while just paused.

It is really silly that this has been as issue as far back as 2015 according to Reddit, as there are post of people reporting the same problem with Origin titles for YEARS.
