madden 20 will not let me download community rosters for xbox one

Hello from Germany,

when I try to download the Bengal Draft Class the game says "an error has occured while downloading the file. Please try again".

It works when I download the file BUT it doesn’t go into my downloaded/ saved files so that doesn’t really matter.

Try restarting your console to see if it shows up after that. We've seen that work for some other players.

I have the same issue and it’s very very frustrating that a week before the NFL draft we cannot download draft classes rosters legends or anything to use. It’s exceptionally offensive that a company with the resources that EA has does not prioritize this and have a staff capable of fixing these issues in a timely manner.  These issues have come around all season so this is not a isolated case just because of the virus pandemic.

I have tried this as well, unfortunately draft classes still do not show up in the load/ delete files section. Whenever I download in franchise mode the draft class will download but the players will not change.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but we've traded in one problem for another. For a couple of days, it appeared as if things were fixed. I could access community files. I could download rosters and draft classes. And now it won't even let me login in. When I try to login, it says that I need to be signed into my PSN I order to sign into my EA account. Well, I'm always signed into when PSN when my PS4 is on, and I got a notification from online as of 34 minutes ago. When I go to community files it says to go to EA.com. well I went to EA.com, and I was able to login just fine. I even went as far as to change my password because I saw on another forum topic that someone had some success with that. Well I did not. So it went from can login it, but can't download anything, to can download for 2 days, now can't even login. I feel as if we're taking 2 steps forward, then 3 steps back.

Is it fixed?

I still cannot download draft classes.

I'm unable to download rosters as well. 

I’m unable to download the community files as well. Anytime I try to download a draft class, I get the “error: cannot download file because it’s been removed by creator” or “error saving file to the hard drive” prompts. I’ve followed this thread for three weeks and none of the solutions have worked. I’m on the Xbox and my gametag is UA2014. Could you please provide some insight on how to download the draft files to my Xbox? Thank you for your help in advance. 

@EA_Blueberry I'm still receiving several Xbox PMs about Community Downloads from members receiving error codes when they try and download any of the files I have hosted.  And for those that don't get the error code(s) they usually can't get the file to show up in the Load/Delete folder.  

I also still can't get any files to appear in my Load/Delete folder but all the files download smoothly with no error codes.  

Just wanting to give a friendly reminder to EA reps that the situation is still no different than it was back in October.  Thanks.

Absolutely nothing is fixed this is embarrassing it’s been weeks and weeks and I go to community files and every single file I try is error saving file I reset the system and then it saves the file but won’t show up

Hey, all. I know this has been frustrating and we're doing our best to gather more information from all of you still impacted by this. We need the info I've relayed above. Please reply back in that format so we can swing it up to the QA team. This will help expedite the reproduction steps.

Well boys. I for one am done. Another year and another lost madden game. NOT EVERYONE LIKES MUT. Less and less effort is being put into franchise mode. It’s used to ba amazing what you could do on PS back in the day. How has it digressed. To top all this off we still can’t download proper rosters from community files. 8 and a half months. Lol seriously almost 9 months no bug fix. Madden 2021 will becoming out in 4 months. It’s sad and pathetic. Billion dollar industry that could care less cause we’ll still buy the game. They will still profit immensely. I for one after 15 plus years of playing/buying madden will no longer waste my money. I know EA and Madden do not care, but I will take solace in the fact that I’m no longer contributing to the greed. Thank you madden for killing great child good memories. Go Birds 🦅 

Hi. So the fix worked before but now even after I restart my Xbox when I download a file it doesn’t go into load and delete files.

Mine is still a little buggy and glitchy. Sometimes say I'm not connected when I go to Community Files, and sometimes won't download on the first try. The majority of the time it is working. I had a really crazy thought. Madden usually doesn't come out until August. It's April. The draft is over. Won't doesn't EA give us 1 last roster update with rookies, remove retired players, age everyone 1 year, and i don't know, make it so that Andrew Luck stops showing up in the franchise free agency. Not even concerned about player faces and models on rookies, that'll be in Madden 21. How about give us something to go off of while we're awaiting the next madden?

Just made an account so I can post on this forum. I've been following this forum since around launch when the problem first started and sometimes the workarounds helped, sometimes they didn't but I still appreciate this forums existence. I'm posting now because at this point it has become too ridiculous and I don't see myself playing this game until this issue is resolved. As for the issues on my end, whenever I download a community file from the "download community files" section I get an error that says "An error has occurred while downloading the file. Please try again." I get this same error from downloading any file (I've tried about 15 separate files) this way. However, if I select on a file and go to "view creators files" I have successfully been able to download about 75% of these files, while receiving the same error for the other 25%. The biggest issue here though is that NONE of these files show up in my "Load and Delete Files" section. Another issue I've dealt with is sometimes when I go to the "Download Community Files" section it says I don't have connection to the EA servers, even though I can access any other mode that requires that such as ultimate team, online head to head, etc. Usually if I just back out and go back in a couple times it will eventually let me in though.

I have tried restarting the game/console like others have suggested and no resolution. In response to the information asked for above, here's mine:

  I won't buy another Madden game, nor play this game ever again until this is fixed. This is false advertising, the game is advertised as being able to utilize custom rosters. I have owned this game since December and the custom rosters has never worked. This is bordering on a mass recall being made from EA and everyone getting their money back for this game.

I am unable to download the file after multiple tries. Every once in awhile, I’ll receive a “download complete” prompt but the downloaded file won’t appear in the download. Other times I receive the “an error has occurred while downloading the file. Please try again” or “Error saving the file to the hard drive.” prompts 

I’ve constantly been restarting my Xbox One but the film won’t go into load into delete. And since EA hasn’t updated the rosters my rosters are never up to date

EA is a joke!
