Madden 20 Won’t let me play play now or anything after load screen

I cannot play madden 20, it gets passed the load screen and i can navigate the menu options anywhere but as soon as i go to play a game mode it gets stuck in the loading screen transition. I’ve power cycled the Xbox numerous times. HELP please

    I recommend reinstalling the game as it sounds like corrupted files. You will lose local saved data such as your offline franchises, but your MUT progress and Connected Franchises are saved to the EA servers. The game is not compatible with a keyboard and mouse so it is possible that had some strange effect if it was plugged in during an update or install. Make sure that or any other devices are unplugged when you reinstall.

    That sounds extremely frustrating what you're going through as well. Since you have an external hard drive and the game is no longer launching, I suspect some type of device is plugged into the system that could be conflicting with the game, or when you plugged the external drive back into the console there might have been files located on it prior to your uninstall.

    I recommend plugging the hard drive back into the console, uninstall the entire game and unplug it to check if there are any files on the internal drive. Uninstall those and clear the game's cache.

    @jarrodsfootlong Having the same issue since the title update launched by EA yesterday morning. Been waiting 4 hours now for help. Been disconnected twice from their live chats.

    Do you happen to have the game installed on an external hard drive or have anything plugged into the USB slot?

    I have a similar problem. WIth the disk cleaned and put into the drive, when I load it, it goes to the main screen with Mahomes and 15 seconds later back to the main xbox screen. No message, no options. Reviewing similar issues, I did a power off reset, I also tried no wifi connection. Nothing. Everything is on the internal drive, no external drive. No USB connected storage and I even disconnected the keyboard/mouse from the USB and tried that. Afraid to uninstall (I fear I will lose my sons game history - maybe not?).  Help

    I bought this game for Xbox a few days before Christmas and have had nothing but problems with it from day one. It's the worst video game I've ever seen. My games won't save, I had to start Face of the franchise over 6 times and my regular franchise 4 times. Every few days I have to clear my local saved games cache. I have played 1 game straight through without the game lagging, freezing and kicking me back to the home screen. Then when it boots me back to the home screen, it won't launch when I try restarting the game. In the last 3 weeks I've had 5 different chat cases with EA support and 6-8 calls from Xbox Support trying to fix the issues and nothing has helped. I moved it from my external hd to my internal hd, unplugged my external hd while I'm playing, cleared local saved games cache, power cycled my xbox, reset my xbox to default settings, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and opened the ports on my router that I was instructed to. Nobody has given me any answers. Just kept telling me the same thing the previous person told me thinking some miracle might happen and this game will somehow fix itself.  Madden is the only game that is acting up to. Blowing the dust out of the old NES and SEGA cartridges when I was 8 was less frustrating than trying to play this game! I don't think that EA even cares about it's player base.

    Game won't launch at all now. 5 different tries with restarting the console. I tried going on to EA Support for more help, the chat option isn't available anymore. I filled out all the information to request a call but the "Request Call" button is grayed out and you can't click on it! Haha! What a joke!
