Madden 21 PS4 compatability mode on PS5 franchise compatibility

My friends and I want to start an online Madden franchise. Issue is, some of us have not been able to get a PS5, and others do not have a PS4. We know that you can download a PS4 version of Madden 21...

    @arobe46 Someone on PS5 can play someone on PS4, they just have to launch the Gen4 version of the game.

I can't play the ps4 version of madden on my ps5. But it says it's installed. I need some help. I want to play squads with my friends.
