Madden 21 suggestions
Yes hi I would just like to tell you about some suggestions I have for madden 21 and beyond/ a player vault to download and import legend players on to teams, sideline reporters, better superbowl pre...
I just wanted to make a post on this and share some ideas that I think would separate Madden 21 from the past video games.
These ideas are not necessarily in game suggestions, but rather suggestions for the presentation of the games themselves. Some pretty cool ways the game presentation could improve is having alternating commentating teams for the games, rather than hearing the same voices all the time. It would be cool to hear people like Al Michaels, Chris Collinsworth, Tony Romo, Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and maybe even John Madden if possible. I think this would be cool because those individuals are the voices of the NFL, not Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis. Along with including rotating announcers, you could also include rotating presentations such as NFL on CBS, NFL on Fox, and Sunday/Monday/Thursday Night Football where you could also use the theme songs that are associated with these programs. I think if you turned on a game and heard the Sunday Night Football jingle come on with Michaels and Collinsworth commentating, you could really recreate the feel of the NFL.
Another idea to improve the game is to include legendary teams from the past similar to how NBA 2K does it. For example, maybe get an option to play with the 16-0 Dolphins squad, or the option to play with your favorite teams' past Super Bowl champs squad. I think it would be awesome to be able to recreate old Super Bowl match ups with some iconic players.
Is a annoying thing to make madden fan happy to to have that in the game and it will not be Bored and if they put it in it will feels that you are in a football real life game and it will be fun.
@EA_Blueberry in franchise mode they need to add an additional signing week right after the completion of the draft. Reason being that once the draft ends and you progress to the 1st week of the pre-season you'll notice that all of the other teams (CPU controlled) have already signed all of the remaining top free agents along with the top un-drafted rookies. Since free agent signing isn't available after the draft until this point we have no chance to sign any of those available players. It would be really easy to add a 1 week signing period right after the end of the draft before advancing to the pre-season.
As many others have mentioned above adding assistant coaches and a training camp would be a great addition. I also think adding some scenarios for offseason development. Something like you can pick 3 players and each one specify a specific area you would like them to work on in off-season and then you get extra XP to upgrade them before the next season.
Finally can there be more depth/options in contract negotiations? Like adding an option for front loading or back loading a contract. Add in the layer of players holding out. Also adding an option to ask players if they would be willing to re-negotiate/re-structure their contract in an effort to free up cap space to improve the team, but that would also bring in the risk of potentially upsetting the player (some may experience a decrease in morale which would then affect their play).
Two additional things:
First, several small adjustments need to be made for the TE. In many aspects these players have become invincible. Mediocre TE (say 70 overall with attributes in the 70's) regularly beat the best coverage LB in the game. Sure Kelce and Kittle are almost impossible to cover, but there is no reason that Jeremy Sprinkle is abusing Luke Kuechly in coverage. In addition, mediocre TE are making great catches that even Odell Beckham cannot make. So keep the top TE elite, but the average to mediocre to poor TE should be exactly that in the passing game.
However, at the other end of the spectrum, TE are far too easy to tackle. While a 190lb RB will break a lot of tackles, Kelce or Ertz are routinely tackled for no gain by 180lb CB with a strength and tackling attributes in the 50's.
So outside of the elite TE, these players should not be quite that good; however, the tackling dynamics need to change because it should be rare for a DB to be able to tackle a TE and the TE not be able to gain a few more yards.
Second, LB should not be designated by the side they play, e.g. ROLB and LOLB. Instead, if it is a 4-3 defense, there should be positions for SAM, MIKE and WIlL linebackers. The same for the other defenses. In the same way, for DT, 3-technique and 5-technique should be specific positions on the depth chart.
Third, for the thousandth time, allow us to assign specific players to the kick return and kick coverage teams, as is possible for every other formation in the game.
