Did you get any sort of error or notification when you tried playing your Franchise? It sounds like the save file may have been corrupted.

This is and has been a problem since madden 19, and it’s crap that EA hasn’t fixed the absolutely insane number of bugs in the madden series. I’m done buying Madden games after ‘21. I had this issue multiple times in madden 20, and I had to literally make 6 backup files to keep my offline franchise from disappearing, because I’d put a month or longer of my time into it, I was into the 2034 season. I just lost my ‘21 franchise mode today after the update last night, I had already progressed to the 2023 season, I had Justin Fields at 92 overall with an X-factor. I’m sick of EA sports and the absolutely LAZY game making. Stop just cranking out new games and actually spend some time delivering us a FINISHED video game that we can enjoy without all this frustration. I’m tired of it and so are a lot of other people. You advertised Face of the Franchise as an amazing game mode in madden 20. It was full of bugs, generic and, again, LAZY in game cut scenes. 2K sports has done a much better job with NBA games, and I really wish the NFL would contract 2K sports to take over NFL video games, because EA sucks at it.
No, theres is no warning, you just get on and it gone. Its after every update. Plz fix this or like some other people I'll stop buying madden. Thank you.
I see a message in game now that franchise and face of franchise are offline for maintenance. I assume my saves will be back when it comes back up.

more and more players are reporting an issue with online franchise leagues. I did not see any solution or official respones yet, but in order to focus the discussion/reporting I'd suggest to use the first link below (since it is the longest thread at the moment). This is the first time anyone on EA's side has commented on this issue. It's been ongoing for 30+ hours and counting. Countless reports from so many users. It's a huge problem with online Franchise across all platforms.
