Madden 21 Trial Error

I have an Xbox one and can’t download the Madden 21 trial through the app, so have to go to the Microsoft store and download it. It won’t launch. HELP! I have EA Play!

If it's taking too long to open and you've already tried reinstalling the EA Play app, try these steps below. It could be a hardware caching issue:

Reboot the power to the modem/router

Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.

How to power cycle your Xbox console:

Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Clear Mac Address

Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.

Same for me, EA support tried to blame ISP, went to them no issue - knew that was the case but gotta try

other EA games fine, madden 20 fine, just this bit for the trial - I wonder if I get the full game it will work, but risk if it doesnt.

my ps seems to be trying to access river.data.ea.com ... wonder if thats an issue??

I'm having the same issue. It might be because ea play merged with xbox game pass.

Madden 21 trial cant connect to EA servers or play offline modes on Xbox One after November update, I Have uninstalled the required data folder and game over 5 times nothings worked, support didn't know what to do so they said I should report as a bug?

Madden 21 trial on Xbox one it won't let me play it I have problems with connecting to the server EA please fix and don't tell me i have to buy s adapter in order to play it makes no sense please help me.

Are you still having trouble connecting, @IIISterbenIII? This was supposed to be fixed in the latest title update.
