While like many I am extremely frustrated with the current product that was put out by EA (Madden 21) and believe that a reasonable solution is for EA to offer a refund, a tangible refund. We will all have played the game for a quarter of the year before the fixes that are coming repair whatever aspect of Madden 21 we are hooked on are completed.
That said, I have faith that the fixes will come, have a couple of hopes for M22 and have a positive observation about the current game.
First, one minor annoyance for me had been on the kick/punt or kick/punt return options. I could not understand why Left, Middle or Right could not be placed on one screen. Now it is, so thanks EA for that.
Concerning Madden 22 I have a wish for an element to return which they had in a previous version. I do not recall the year, but you were able to designate match-ups defensively for pass coverage. In other words, like basketball you could assign the DB (or even LB) to cover a specific receiver in M2M coverage throughout the game. Those of us that like the D side enjoyed that element quite a bit. Doing it on-the-fly is nearly impossible when in hurry up mode and then lucky if you get one match-up set.
The other minor wish that I have is to have SB winners kept in statistics. That does not seem like an overwhelming request. It would be great if that could be done and to go a step further to show the two teams involved, the year and the score. We have career records shown so why not add that?
The other hope, the obvious one is to just have the game ready next year.
