Madden 21 Won’t Start up
Once I click on the Madden 21 app. It goes to Madden 21 menu, after about 30secs to a min it goes back to Xbox home screen. Then says it’s an error and that it’s taking to long to start.

I've done this as well. I've gone through factory restores, re installs and everything. I went to Microsoft and they said my connection is fine and it's EAs servers.
- @fonzo04 So we can't play a game we bought because EA doesn't want to upgrade their servers, made a mistake buying madden for the first timd in 5 years
- I have the free trial and I have 6 hours left. The issue is that I have only played 20 minuets out of this trial. I was leaning towards getting it but as I can see, there are issues just opening the game. I am not going to spend money on a game I can't play. Please fix and I will finish my evaluation of the game and decide whether to get or not. There may be. I would like to see it fixed and extend the trial once our original trial is over.
Anything else to try? I've done everything and it jst wont work it does however load up on another xbox I have in my front room it's a digital download so what could be the problem? Madden only work for some xbox ones?

Can you try a power cycle to see if that works. If not, try re-installing the game. Some players that had the Trial version before and then ended up purchasing the game had to un-install the game and re-install again to remove a Trial error.
I've had Xbox Ones since they came out and with the Xbox One and Series X we still need to perform a power cycle every so often to clear up random game errors.
Since this post is almost a year old and related to an issue at Madden NFL 21's launch, I'm going to shut it down. If you still need help please create a new post.How to power cycle your Xbox console:
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
Clear Mac Address
- Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.
