Madden 21 won't load

I have an xbox one and have been trying to get Madden 21 to launch. This is a digital copy from gamepass.  The startup screen once clicked on stays for 30 seconds and goes back to home screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 6 times still won't load. EA help has tried all troubleshooting steps and gave up. My other games including Madden 20 work fine.  My son is playing the 21 game with no problems on an older system than mine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Reinstalling the game should fix a lot of issues, we want to make sure you have done this correctly:

Before reinstalling a game, first you need to uninstall it from the console's hard drive. To uninstall:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select My Games & apps.
    2. Select Games.
    3. Highlight the game you want to uninstall, press the Menu button, then select Manage game & add-ons.
    4. Select Installed>Uninstall all, then confirm by selecting Uninstall all again.

Please post again if this does not help, thanks.

  • I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling madden 21 multiple times on my Xbox one but it still won’t load. Stays on loading screen for a while then back to my Xbox Home Screen. Not happy! All other games work fine but this is trash!

    Hey, @WayneReus

I can help fix that for you. First, do you have anything plugged into the Xbox One at all such as an external hard drive, phone charger, controller charger, etc.?

Second, have you tried a power cycle with your console?

How to power cycle your Xbox console:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    1. Plug the console power cable back in.
    2. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
