Madden 22 Crashing Franchise Mode

Yes mines have in the exact same way

I would get into my third season into the playoffs and right after the first playoff game I would leave and in the loading screen it would crash

Same here. PS5. Problem still occurring after December update. Offline franchise crashes after 4th or 5th season bye week. Online franchise won't save after 5th year draft.

Are you simming to those events or is that where you go to play your next week and it stops? 

I have the same issues, posted elsewhere with other details. Now, I am functionally dead. (XBOX ONE)

I did a bunch of testing... before giving-up -- including reloading the game on the console. No Help.

Given this is happening on a bunch if systems across platforms -- likely safe to assume -- the issue is in the code base.  I have seen others report issues -- just like me -- that the issues starts at the end of Season '29's regular season game 17/18.  No matter what, once a save happens, the Franchise file corrupts. I can Sim from w17 to w18. If I exit the game doing nothing... I have been able to OPEN the auto-save sometimes, but most times -- the auto save corrupts. IF I am lucky to survive the auto-save, it does not matter, the next auto or manual save will still corrupt... I only mention b/c that makes me wonder about the variance in the random data being generated as a potential tipping point.

If play the w17 game, Madden CRASHES completely on exit of the Game Summary -- autosave corrupt each time.

I have simulated into the playoffs to get past week 17/18, but that is not a patch. Both the Autosave and any Manual saves are corrupted (overwrites or new-file saves).  Net-net -- I seems to me there is data leakages messing up something structural during the franchise save (triggered by a year or stats) creating an useable franchise file.

If I am right, this is going to grow as more users start hitting aligning to the criteria...

So, EA tech support did acknowledge there is an issue with franchise mode crashes on stadia. I have 1 gb running to my house and have zero problems with anything on Stadia or any other system except Madden 22 franchise mode on Stadia. I did once delete all my franchise mode saves and it did not work since.... The Madden memorial page update also happened the day it stopped working... Could either be related?

If Madden 22 franchise mode on stadia is fixed, I will gladly rebuy the game. Please advise. Thank you.

@EA_Blueberry us lowly costumers are still sitting here scratching our heads wondering how this game keeps crashing. Any info as to when this game stops freezing 

I have had this same issue for the last 2 weeks, on Series X. I can't choose ANY game mode, they all crash the game within seconds of selecting them. This game was a complete waste of money.

This ridiculous I have madden 22 on series x and every time on the 7th year the file corrupts and I can’t go in anymore.  This is the worst it’s ever been.  I’ve been playing madden since the first on and this is by far the worst game I’ve ever played. They won’t fix it.  Maybe we need to petition for 2k to come back and this is bad because I’ve supported madden throughout all the years.
