Madden 22 freezing when selecting upgrade players

I’m having an issue with playing games in my franchise now. (I’ve had numerous issues in the past but this is finally making me post something). I can’t even report a bug because the EA site won’t let me after logging I’m stuck doing this.

After playing a week in my franchise, my player has a chance of making X Factor and he sits down with an invisible QB to talk about bowling and then playing football. For a handful of PS5 resets the franchise main menu buzzes and I can only select certain things (very buggy). Once I finally got into a game I was playing against my own franchise team instead of an opponent. I backed out and the game froze and I can’t get back into it.

Please fix this… I’ve been a huge franchise player and the last game I bought was Madden 20. I gave 22 a chance despite the reviews I saw on 21. This is unplayable and is unenjoyable. I’ve never had an issue with franchise since I’ve had a Madden game in the early 2000s.

This is my first time ever posting something or complaining as well. If franchise mode can’t be fixed I would prefer to have a refund, just being honest. Being someone who only has so much time to play games it’s upsetting to deal with a large amount of in-game bugs regularly. I’ve heavily defended your franchise up until now and I hope to continue it, but my franchise I’ve spent a ton of hours into is literally unplayable and it’s upsetting. Thank you.

Summarize your bug Missing player is cutscene, playing against my own team, can’t upgrade players.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load into the franchise, Kyler is missing. Try and upgrade players, game freezes. Load into season game, playing my team.
What happens when the bug occurs? Breakout scenario for X-factor for TE and Kyler Murray. Kyler is missing from the scene. When trying to upgrade players, game freezes. When loading into the next game, I am playing my own team. stats are combined throughout the game from each iteration of Kyler, receivers, etc. I tried finishing the game and I am stuck in a losing screen. Quit out of that, come back to the game, the game was never played.
What do you expect to see? Kyler, the Seahawks offense and defense.

Summarize your bug I get a cut screen for a x factor next game. The WR walks up to the QB an the QB is invisible. So I’ll hit play game an look at the jerseys an they don’t pop up. Then i play the game an it’s like it desync. The pregame doesn’t show an the game lags then once you quit or play the game it freezes on the load screen.

If you go to MUT and open up a pack and then go back to your franchise are you then able to upgrade them?

This worked for a player on this post that is somewhat similar to what you're experiencing. 

Has this issue been fixed???

Having the exact same issue.  It happens when playing franchise and a player has a chance to be uograded from superstar to superstar X.  Everytime i go to upgrrade my roster, it freezes.  Evertime.  So annoying!!

WHY IS THIS NOT FIXED YET?!

@EA_Blueberry I seem to remember u telling several players having crashing and freezing issues that you and the team would get right on it at the first of the year. Well it's January 4th and you or no other commentators have even responded in the forums about this 3 plus month issue plauging us consumers and players. Its especially frustrating considering that the freezing/crashing issue reports are increasing significantly
