Okay, just making sure it's nothing else because some controllers, external hard drives, and other devices can create strange bugs in game.
Can you let me know if this helps fix it for you?
Reboot the power to the modem/router
- Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.
How to power cycle your Xbox console:
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
Clear Mac Address
- Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.
I also tried using different Wifi networks.

So what modes is this happening for and do you experience it for all teams if you're playing regular exhibition games? - 4 years ago
I first encountered the issue during my franchise mode. Then tried it on an exhibition game and also during practice mode and the same issue happens when the difficulty setting is on All Pro or All Madden (when the kicking meter is fast) I tried it on Rookie & Pro and the kicking meter works fine when it goes slow.
