Can you double-check your Windows updates to see if you have any software to install. Please do the same for your AMD card via AMD's website.
Do you run dual monitors? Some players have been able to run the game by disabling one of the monitors. I have seen that work for other games too. Can you at least try that to test and see if that could be the cause of it here?

All drivers, including the GPU, and Windows, are up-to-date. I have only one monitor. I literally tried everything:
- uninstalling and reinstalling Origin and the EA App;
- uninstalling Madden 22 and installing & running it via Origin and EA App;
- plugging the controller after booting the title;
- switching the Graphics to low and DirectX to 11/12;
- installing the title on a different partition;
- running Origin, the EA App and the title as Administrator.
I ran out of options. I'm not sure if the softlock is due to the Xbox 360 controller. A few minutes ago I just encountered the softlock again during a Solo Challenge, after selecting a play. If it matters, I can play FIFA 22, with the same controller, without any issues.

Have you tried using the EA app recovery to clear it's cache?https://help.ea.com/nz/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
- ApprovedAnonymous3 years ago@EA_Blueberry yes sir, cleared the cache for both EA App and Origin. Also deleted the temp files, repaired the game, the issue still occurs.

No, the title just freezes. There are no error messages when the issue occurs.
I managed to download Madden 21 and try the suggested fix, but the issue still occurs, with a lower repro-rate, during the loading screen or during the game, when I select a play. I can't even play online because anytime the game can freeze; I'm playing only solo challenges. I lost two H2H matches when the game started, due to this issue. - EA_Blueberry3 years ago

Would you be able to try unplugging the 360 controller and play with Mouse and keyboard just to see if it locks up. If it doesn't, that can give us a good idea if that is where we need to determine if it's hardware related. - ApprovedAnonymous3 years ago@EA_Blueberry
I played a challenge with the controller connected and I don't had any issues. Then I selected to play another challenge and the game stopped responding after I selected a play. Video: https://youtu.be/Wp5aQvkcw3M - Timestamp: 05:55.
I closed the game, unplugged the controller receiver, then I booted the game. I played a challenge with keyboard input, then I selected a different challenge and the game stopped responding after I selected a play. Video: https://youtu.be/3GpsupUwSi4 - Timestamp: 03:34.
The issue occurs for both inputs - softlock during the loading screen or after selecting a play. This is the only game where I encounter this issue. - EA_Blueberry3 years ago

Thank you for the videos. Curious, have you tried rolling back your driver for your video card and re-downloaded the latest version to see if that repairs this?
