Madden 22 PC freezing
I know this being posted constantly but im hoping someone will finally have an answer to why the game will freeze during loading or just randomly during games. I am never able to complete all my solo...

There are no messages when it freezes its just either loading and will just stop or in the middle of the game (most of the time the start) after I select my play the game will freeze. I don't have any updates on windows. I will try reinstalling manually the latest drivers for the 1050 but im very doubtful as you have seen multiple threads of this same freezing people have made and it doesnt seem like this would be whats causing it. Never had this problem in madden 21 and this is a very literal carbon copy of that game. ALSO the game NEVER freezes when im in mut doing the sets or buying and selling on the auction house and NEVER freezes in franchise when i never play the game itself and i sim to the next week. I could do a sim franchise for 7 hours never once a freeze. I go to play the next game of the season my self *Freeze* i sit in the mut changing roster around upgrading looking at the auction house never once a freeze. Goes into challenges or solo battles *freeze* something is wrong with the fields the stadiums or something that the game has to load thats not working.

What type of devices do you have plugged into your PC?
I have an external monitor a mouse and a blue microphone and my ps4 controller sometimes i unplug the microphone to charge my phone but thats it.

Do you know if the phone is plugged in when it freezes? My phone charger caused my Xbox to slow down when I tried to charge it thru the USB slot. Not sure if it has the same effect on a PC though. The Yeti mic should be fine.
The Xbox controller is the only official controller for Madden. I haven't seen PS4 controllers lead to crashing though. Do you know if it has the latest controller driver update?the phone wasn't plugged into the computer on the last freeze ill look to update the controller drivers but im fairly certain they are up to date. I will try playing challenges without the controller and use the keyboard controls to see if it still occurs. Its weird the xbox is the only supported controller but without using ds4 or 3rd party programs madden will use ps4 buttons and show ps4 controls when plugged in.
