Madden 22 Wide Receiver running EXTREMELY SLOW with maxed out speed.

I'm playing Face of the Franchise on PC having a great time so far my dude is running fast I'm making touchdown after touchdown all of a sudden I believe I'm on my 7th or 8th game and my guy is running like he's injured (he's not I have that turned off)
I read on a Reddit thread somewhere that it could be because my speed went above 100 statwise and the game is miscalculating and resetting my speed but I don't know anything about that stuff so I'm not sure if that's incorrect or correct. I don't want to have to get a refund I just want to find an answer to my issue as I'm really enjoying the game.

    I'm having the same problem too, but looks like literally no one has answerd your question. I started running slow on my 9th game, so its close to yours.

    8th game got a speed boost putting me over 100 now it looks like I'm running in mud.
