Summarize your bug Every time I boot up the game I get an error that states "An error has occurred while downloading the latest roster" this makes it so I am unable to play any online head to head modes.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know this just happens while I'm loading into the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? I get the error message and then a message that asks me to retry. No matter how many times I retry it never works.
What do you expect to see? I expect to not see this bug every time I open my game.

Are you able to download the roster if you exit the game, right-click on Madden 22 in Origin and select repair?
No, I'm sorry, I should have mentioned this. I have repaired the game on both Origin and Steam. As well as I uninstalled and reinstalled the game on steam.

The same thing keeps happening to me. I have un installed and reinstalled 2 times, ran it through steam and origin, repaired it countless times, and ran it as an administrator and i still get the same error message. What can I do? I’ve done the router thing you suggested, and it still doesn’t work

Can you 3 attach a DxDiag for us to review?Do you happen to be on a Linux network? A player was experiencing crashes because of PiHole.

Can you check your Madden 22 folder and see if there is a roster file in there that you can delete so the game prompts a fresh install? A play that had this issue before found a corrupted roster file and after removing it the roster was able to be downloaded.
I’ve been having the same issue. I just tried what you suggested and the issue is still occurring.
