If you don't fully close down the game before playing it that can increase the chances of dashboarding. I've experienced this myself on my X.

I’ve been plugged into a surge protector as I have been since I bought the game. This literally started happening the last two weeks. Has anyone found a fix? I know EA isn’t working on it with the new game coming out soon. Lol

Is it possible to plug the console directly into the wall? The Gen5 console has a built in surge protector and Microsoft has said it's not necessary to use it. Having it in a surge protector could result in console shutdowns. Although that is different than dashboarding, it may be worth trying it plugged into the wall to see if you get the same results.Ok I will try that.
