Madden crashes when starting a user game in franchise.
Trying to play a user game in connected franchise. Game keeps crashing after the player comparison on the load screen every time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, hard reset my series x, unplugging for a minute, and clearing the reserved space. Btw it’s the Xbox one version of madden not series x. Anyone know how to fix this?
I've seen cases where external hard drives can cause technical issues if they're official Xbox/PlayStation versions. It's possible the games can crash if there are files located on both the external and internal drive. There is an option to designate where post installation updates go to, so it's important they go to the same drive you have the game installed on.
I had a player experiencing crashes for UFC 4 and even after making sure all files were on the hard drive after a fresh install it still did it, but once installed on the internal it stopped. So there could be a combability issue at large.
Can you try deleting all files and then try installing the game to the internal drive with the external detached to see if the game runs better on the internal?
