Madden Ea Access

I have all the necessary subscriptions for the ea access and it keeps telling me I need to purchase one which I already did. I’m on ps4.

  • Hey, all.

    If you are still having trouble getting access to the Play First Trial here are recommendations:

    1. EA Play Pro is for PC users and is not shared across platforms. If you signed up for EA Play Pro on PC and want to play the game on Xbox/PlayStation, it will not. You need a separate membership for EA Play on Xbox/PlayStation.
    2. You can only play the Play First Trial once on your EA Play membership (from the account that owns the membership)
    3. We are seeing players going to the Microsoft/Sony PlayStation store to download the game. You will receive the message "You are too early to play this game" which normal, because you are attempting to install the game version you've pre-ordered for the date it's set to release on. You will need to visit the EA Play app and download the Play First Trial from there.
    4. If you're receiving an error when you're trying to download the Play First Trial within the app, try adding it to your download queue from the Xbox./PlayStation stores. There will be an option for "Trial" to select.
    5. If you haven't uninstalled the EA Play app and reinstalled it, please try that and power cycle your console.
    6. You cannot Gameshare the Play First Trial.

    Still having trouble? Contact an EA Advisor so they can troubleshoot this with you as they are able to pull up your EA account to see what could be a potential issue. I advise double-checking your EA Play membership on your Xbox/PlayStation account prior to contacting Support to verify it is still an active membership.

    @gio102599

    If you're game sharing can you please remove yourself and others (disable home console) to see if that will allow you to access the game?

    I would try that out but I know that on Xbox you only get a couple of chances to do that every year and we’ve already done it once. In all honesty I don’t think that’s the issue because my game was installed first before my buddy even started playing. I have 3 other friends that downloaded the trial as well and none of them are having any issues.

  • I ordered deluxe edition and the trial is for standard edition per EA play. You can get the trial for the deluxe and MVP editions only if you have EA play pro which is only for PC users. Sucks. Hope this helps.

  • I did. it is linked to my xbox account. I pay for the subscription so the least thing i can do is play the game. seems like a lot of people are dealing with this issue too so.

  • Same problem. Terrible program. EA Play poorly executed, servers as usual making it all worse. Cancelling my charge.

    None of the above works, and EA Help has been useless. I’m on my own account. I have my own EA Play account. I have done literally everything you’ve posted above, even before you posted it. This is literally a god awful experience and a huge turnoff

    So here's my issue I have college 25. I wanted to try the trial madden had, I downloaded the free trial when it was available for a weekend played for a hour. Now when I'm playing college I see a promo for madden for 50% off I go to buy it and it says I already own the game but in the playstation store it's 35% off.. I'd rather get it for half off . I tried ea for help and of course no help at all. Fix yoir game ea and honor the deal smh
