Any idea if Christian Wade of the bills will be added to the game? Been tearing up preseason

I'd suspect Wade will depend on if he makes some teams final 53 or practice squad- like many other undrafted players.
My query is where are established vets, who are currently free agents, like Michael Crabtree and Jay Ajayi, who to my knowledge are still very much NFL players, waiting for right offer. (I'm sure there are others too.)
And this Tom Brady update is nonsense. His new real life deal doesn't mean he won't retire at end of this season. Still just means he might or might not.
And if doing that for him, what about players like Joe Staley, who has just signed a new deal in June 2019, but I've never seen him get past year one. Even when I added the OL retirement influence attribute to my coach, he still retired.
He can play every snap of season, be high on the top OL yearly awards list, and still retires.
- 6 years ago@SleepyZoid I can only respond to your query about free agents. So, it depends on their contracts. Depending on how their contracts ended, they might or might not be covered by the NLFPA (NLF Players' Association). If not, then the agreement between EA and the NFLPA would not cover their name and likeness. So, EA would have to contact all these players directly and come up with separate agreements, which would just impose an impossible cost (both time and money). I don't know enough about the contracts to say what would make them no longer part of the NFLPA. Also, some players/coaches just don't join the unions. The Belichick isn't in the game because he is the only coach not in the union, so they can't get his likeness.
I agree with you about Brady. He might very well retire at the end of the year. What if he had an injury? Having the game automatically disqualify him from retiring isn't realistic. I agree it reduces the likelihood of retiring, but not eliminate it.
